Mike is available to help nervous patients overcome their
anxieties and phobias. Mike has been used as a consultant
by the BBC (TV and Radio), the Police, and the Consumers Association.
He has lectured for Portsmouth and Southampton Universities
and the Royal Defence Medical College. He was a staff tutor
at the UK Training College in London and is currently an External
Examiner in Hypnotherapy for Sheffield Hallam University.
Mike runs a busy private practice in Southampton and is Founder-Director
of the Psycho-Semantic Institute, a research and educational
establishment.
Qualifications:
Among his other qualifications, Mike is a certificated Master
Practitioner in Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy (U.K. & U.S.A.);
holds diplomas in Psychology; Stress Management; and Critical
Incident Stress Debriefing; has a certificate in Rational-Emotional-Behavioural
Therapy (CBT) recognised by the REBT Institute in New York;
and is a Royal Society of Arts qualified therapist assessor.
